Greetings from our nation’s capital! I got an interesting tidbit from a credible source last night over dinner.
Since Nevada is a caucus somewhat (but not entirely) like Iowa, the Obama camp has cut a deal with the Edwards camp to be each other’s second choice at each caucus, thus ensuring that Hillary would place third in Nevada.
Interesting……..

The only potential problem I see with this SMD is if it results in a victory for Edwards (doubtful, but possible), then this thing carries on even longer. My hope would be such a deal results in a victory for Obama. That would be good prior to Super Tuesday and hopefully would seal the deal for him.
SMD - do you think this kind of a deal implies any other deals? For example, could the two campaigns have also agreed to potential VP-slots for the other as the races progress?
